Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Achraf Lazaar for the Under-23 side against their Notts County counterparts.
Lazaar was in action for the Newcastle Under-23 side against their County counterparts on Thursday evening.
The 26-year-old left-back – who has been on the books of Newcastle since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Palermo for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £2 million – also featured against the Fulham Under-23 team earlier this week, and Morocco international played well against the Cottagers and County.
Newcastle fans want manager Rafael Benitez to bring Lazaar – who earns £15,000 per week as salary, according to The Daily Star – back into the first team.
