And Newcastle fans now want Kenedy signed up on a permanent deal to ensure that he stays on Tyneside.
Whether Chelsea would be willing to sell Kenedy remains to be seen, as he has enjoyed a highly impressive time at Newcastle.
But Newcastle supporters are certainly correct in thinking that Kenedy should be their first signing of the summer.
