Newcastle United supporters are keen to see Jack Wilshere at St. James’ Park next season.

Newcastle United are keen to see Jack Wilshere brought to St. James’ Park, after the midfielder announced he was leaving Arsenal on social media yesterday.
Wilshere has failed to agree a new contract with Arsenal, which leaves the England international available to leave on a free this summer.
And Newcastle fans are eager to see Wilshere brought to Tyneside to bolster Rafael Benitez’s midfield options.
The potential to see Wilshere lining up alongside Jonjo Shelvey is understandably an exciting prospect for Newcastle fans.
The pair could be dictate the pace of games, with both of them very comfortable in possession.

Whether Wilshere would be in Newcastle’s price-range remains to be seen though.
The Daily Mail suggest that Wilshere is on a contract worth £90,000-a-week at Arsenal, and he is likely to want at least parity with that salary at whatever club he moves to.
Newcastle have been quiet in the transfer window so far, with Martin Dubravka their only addition.
