Diame scored twice in Newcastle United’s 6-0 EFL Cup win against Preston.

Scoring two goals in a 6-0 win is usually a good way of endearing one’s self to a new set of fans – but Mohamed Diame continues to divide the Newcastle United faithful it seems.
Newcastle paid £4.5 million to sign the Senegal midfielder during the summer transfer window – months after he scored a stunning winner to secure Hull City’s promotion from the Championship at Wembley.
