Newcastle United fans call out Garth Crooks after he did not select a single Toon player in his team of the week.

Newcastle United produced one of the best performances of the weekend as they shut out Manchester United an earned a shock 1-0 win.
There were standout displays from several players, including Jonjo Shelvey, Jamaal Lascelles, and new goalkeeper Martin Dubravka, who was making his debut.
Despite this there were no places for any Newcastle players in pundit Garth Crooks’ team of the week column for BBC Sport.
Crooks selected Brighton and Hove Albion’s Mat Ryan in goal – who saved a penalty against Stoke.
In defence he picked a back three, Tottenham’s Jan Vertonghen, West Ham’s Pablo Zabaleta and Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk.
Kevin de Bruyne and Gylfi Sigurdsson were selected as midfielders.
Each of the players had solid cases to be selected, but Newcastle fans were miffed that not even one Toon player managed to make it in.
