Salomon Rondon, signed on loan from West Bromwich Albion, played well for Newcastle United against Leicester City.

Newcastle United fans have responded to West Bromwich Albion-owned striker Salomon Rondon’s post on Twitter following the win against Leicester City on Friday evening.
Rondon has taken to Twitter to revel in the 1-0 win for Newcastle against Leicester City in the Premier League on Monday evening.
Ayoze Perez scored the only goal of the match between the Foxes and the Magpies in the 32nd minute.
Rondon played well for the Magpies and was unlucky not to score when his effort from a 35-yard free kick came back off the Leicester crossbar.
According to WhoScored, against Leicester, the 29-year-old Venezuela international striker took two shots, had a pass accuracy of 67.7%, won four headers, and played two key passes.
So far this season, the West Brom-owned striker has made 26 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Newcastle so far this season, scoring nine goals and providing five assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Newcastle fans have responded to Rondon’s post on Twitter, and West Brom fans were also impressed with the display produced by the striker.
