And Rondon admitted on social media website Twitter that he was frustrated with his side’s failure to pick up a point.
Many Newcastle fans were also annoyed with the defeat, but Rondon was given a lot of support.
Rondon didn’t score for Newcastle yesterday, but he still put in an excellent display.
The West Bromwich Albion loanee crossed the ball for Newcastle’s only goal in the contest, with Ayoze Perez heading home.
Newcastle were beaten by Wolves in the most heartbreaking of circumstances, with Nuno’s side scoring a last minute winner.
The Magpies are next in action at the weekend when they take on Huddersfield Town.
