Newcastle United supporters are keen to see Kevin Mbabu back at St. James’ Park.

#43 Kevin Mbabu of BSC Young Boys looks on during the Uhrencup 2018 at the Neufeld stadium on July 14, 2018 in Bern, Switzerland.

Newcastle United fans are hoping Kevin Mbabu comes back to St. James’ Park, after his latest tweet.

Mbabu was capped by Switzerland for the first time at the weekend, just a year after he left Newcastle on a permanent deal.

The full-back was deemed to have no future at St. James’ Park by Rafael Benitez, but he has gone from strength to strength since leaving Tyneside.

Mbabu is now at Young Boys, and his form did enough to push him into international contention, which the 23-year-old was quick to celebrate.

Newcastle fans have followed Mbabu’s career with interest from afar, and they now feel that he could have something to offer them.

Mbabu may actually have stood a chance of starting for Newcastle, if he was still there now.

The defender is capable of playing on either side of defence, and Newcastle’s options at left-back are not plentiful.

Mbabu made just five senior appearances for Newcastle before he left to join Young Boys.
