Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle United lost to Manchester City in the Premier League at the weekend.

Newcastle United fans have responded to Federico Fernandez’s message on social networking site Twitter.
Fernandez has taken to Twitter to thank the Newcastle fans for their support against Manchester City at the weekend.
The 29-year-old central defender featured for the Magpies in their 2-1 defeat to City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League this past Saturday afternoon.
The Argentine centre-back, who moved to Newcastle from Championship club Swansea City in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £6 million, has thanked the Newcastle fans on Twitter for their support and have received some favourable responses.

Newcastle are third from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with just one point from four matches.
The Magpies need to put together a run of positive results soon if they are to allay worries of facing a relegation battle this season.
Newcastle have some very good players, and fans must be optimistic about the season ahead.
