Perez left Newcastle to join Leicester earlier this summer in a £30 million transfer (BBC Sport).
The Spaniard is yet to play at the King Power Stadium, but should feature tonight when Leicester take on Atalanta in a friendly match, and he is looking forward to the experience.
Newcastle fans were quick to remind Perez that they don’t think that his new stadium will be anything like St. James’ Park though.
Newcastle have not signed a direct replacement for Perez since his departure, but they have used the funds raised from his sale to sign other options.
Joelinton has arrived to strengthen Newcastle’s striking options, while Allan Saint-Maximin’s arrival is imminent, according to the Chronicle.
Newcastle begin their Premier League campaign with a match against Arsenal, while Leicester open their season against Wolverhampton Wanderers next weekend.
