Newcastle United fans react to West Ham United’s valuation of Issa Diop

Newcastle United centre-back Fabian Schar and West Ham United defender Issa Diop both had excellent debut seasons in England.

Newcastle United fans believe that Fabian Schar must be worth £100 million if West Ham United are asking for £60 million for Issa Diop.

Sky Sports have claimed that West Ham want big money for Diop with Manchester United interesting in taking the centre-back, but Newcastle supporters feel that Schar is the better player.

And they have suggested that the Magpies should get mega-money for Schar if he ever leaves now.

Schar looks to have been one of Newcastle’s finest additions in years.

Newcastle only paid a small fee to sign the Switzerland international, but his first season on Tyneside has been nothing short of outstanding.

Schar is now a vital part of Rafael Benitez’s side and looks set to be a regular again at St. James’ Park next term.

West Ham, meanwhile, will be hoping that Manchester United aren’t able to take Diop off their hands, as the Frenchman has been excellent at the London Stadium over the past campaign.
