Newcastle United picked up a point against Watford in their last match.

Newcastle United fans are generally not shy in criticising Steve Bruce, and the Magpies boss made more comments which have not gone down well with the St. James’ Park crowd at the weekend.
Things have picked up slightly for Bruce at Newcastle, after his side’s victory over Tottenham Hotspur two weekends’ ago.
Newcastle have since drawn with Leicester City in the Carabao Cup – although they were knocked out on penalties – and they also claimed a point against Watford on Saturday.
The week was considered a positive one by Bruce, who said to the Chronicle after the match: “We have had three difficult games this week. And we have not lost any of them in real terms (90 mins).”
But Newcastle fans are not quite as positive about the results their side have picked up.
The Magpies did go out of the cup, and their failure to beat Watford was a disappointment, given Javi Gracia’s side were pointless through their first three games.
And Newcastle fans have disagreed with Bruce’s verdict once again.
Newcastle head into the international break in 14th place in the Premier League table, but their next match against Liverpool looks set to be a huge test.
