Newcastle United supporters are united in their belief that Cheick Tiote should be sold if they receive an £8 million offer for him.
The Ivorian has been linked with a host of clubs from China in the Daily Mail, with Newcastle said to be willing to sell.
Following the arrivals of Henri Saivet and Jonjo Shelvey, Tiote’s place in Newcastle’s first team looks in jeopardy, and the North East club’s supporters are keen to see their side cash in.
Tiote has been with Newcastle since 2010, and he has generally played a key role for them.
The 29-year-old offers the Magpies a physical presence, but his limitations have been exposed in recent times.
Although Steve McClaren is thought to be an admirer, Newcastle reportedly realise that they cannot turn down an £8 million fee for a player who is likely to be a reserve.
If the Magpies do decide to sell Tiote, the move would be welcomed by the club’s supporters – with fans keen to see him leave.
