Mohamed Diame was in action for Newcastle United against Watford this afternoon.

Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Mohamed Diame against Watford.
Diame was in action for Newcastle in their Premier League match against Watford at St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon.
The 31-year-old Senegalese did not have a good first half and failed to impose himself on the match.
The midfielder’s performance did improve after the break, but Newcastle fans were not impressed with his overall display and have criticised the former West Ham United midfielder on Twitter.
Diame – who earns £45,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – has been on the books of Newcastle since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Hull City for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £4.5million.
Against Watford on Saturday afternoon, the midfielder took one shot which was on target, had a pass accuracy of 68.6%, took 52 touches, and made two tackles and one clearance, according to WhoScored.
Rafael Benitez’s side are now 17th in the Premier League table with six points from 11 matches, a point clear of third-from-bottom Cardiff City.
