Almiron was in action for Newcastle in their Premier League game against Watford at St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it finished in a 1-1 draw.
The Paraguay international did not have a good game on a personal level, missed some chances, and failed to create much.
According to WhoScored, Almiron took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 79.4%, won one header, and made three tackles and one clearance.
The attacking midfielder has struggled to do much for the Magpies so far this season and is in poor form.
According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old has made four appearances in the Premier League for Newcastle so far this campaign, and has failed to score or provide an assist.
Newcastle fans were not impressed with the display produced by Almiron and have criticised him on Twitter.
