Newcastle United have been reportedly linked with a move for Czech Republic forward Michael Krmencik.

The Magpies have signed only one player, Kenedy on loan from Chelsea, in the January transfer window, and Rafael Benitez wants more new faces added to the squad.

Bolstering the attacking department is one of Benitez’s top priorities. The Magpies have been linked with a host of Premier League strikers this month, but they have been unsuccessful in luring their targets to St James’ Park.
As a result, Benitez has turned his attention to foreign markets, and the Magpies are showing interest in Krmencik, who is understood to be valued at £10 million.

The 24-year-old has scored 16 goals in 20 games this season, and 32 goals and 11 assists for the club in 68 overall appearances for the club.
He has also notched up six goals in 11 appearances for Czech Republic. These are really impressive stats, and Newcastle United fans took to social networking site Twitter to discuss about the potential move.
