Matt Ritchie has come in for criticism from Newcastle United fans tonight.
The Magpies could only draw 1-1 with bottom-of-the-table Swansea City at St James’s Park for a result that does nothing to inspire confidence that Newcastle can stay up this season.
Joselu pounced on 68 minutes to cancel out Jordan Ayew’s opener on the hour mark and it seems like United got away with one to some extent.
But there’s nowhere to hide for the Newcastle players and several have been criticised by fans of the Tyneside club – including Ritchie.
The former Bournemouth winger hasn’t scored in 22 Premier League appearances this season, bagging five assists.
But it was his delivery from wide areas which angered Newcastle supporters and here is some of the reaction to his performance.
