Newcastle United fans are fearing the worst with Martin Dubravka being linked with a move to PSG.

The Daily Mail suggest that Dubravka had been wanting to sign a new contract at Newcastle, but Rafael Benitez’s departure has scuppered his plans.

The Slovakian stopper, who has been a key player for Newcastle ever since he arrived, has now attracted the attentions of PSG.

And Newcastle fans are really hoping that Dubravka doesn’t leave.

PSG almost certainly have the funds to buy Dubravka from Newcastle, as they are one of the richest clubs in the world.

The Magpies always operate on the stance that their players are sellable if their asking price is reached, but whether PSG will firm up their interest in the stopper remains to be seen.

If Newcastle were to lose Dubravka it will be a major blow, as he has proven to be a very solid option for the Magpies.

Newcastle do have Karl Darlow, Rob Elliott and Freddie Woodman also at the club, but they all appear to be a downgrade on their current number one.
