Lewis McNall played for the Newcastle United Under-23 side on Thursday.

Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Lewis McNall for the Under-23 side on Thursday evening.
McNall featured for the Newcastle Under-23 side against Blyth AFC counterparts in the Techflow Marine Northumberland Senior Cup.

The teenage forward was the star of the show, as he scored three goals in 15 minutes to help Peter Beardsley’s side to a 7-2 win, guiding them into the into the last four of the Techflow Marine Northumberland Senior Cup in the process.
The youngster actually came on in place of Luke Charman for the second half and was superb during his time on the pitch at Whitley Park.
Newcastle fans were impressed with the performance of McNall and some want the teenage forward called up to the senior side.

The senior Newcastle side will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on West Ham United away from home at the London Stadium in the Premier League.
