Ki Sung-yueng has joined Newcastle United.

Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the signing of former Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-yueng.
As announced on Newcastle’s official website this evening, the Premier League club have secured the services of Ki on a free transfer.
The South Korea international midfielder was a free agent following his departure from Swansea at the end of last season.

The 29-year-old will join the Magpies on an initial two-year contract and becomes the second summer signing following the permanent deal of goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.

Ki was part of the South Korea national football team that featured at the World Cup in Russia this summer.
The former Celtic midfielder had a loan spell at Sunderland from Swansea during the 2013-14 season.
The midfielder scored two goals and provided two assists in 21 Premier League starts for the Swans last season.
