Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Junior Stanislas from AFC Bournemouth.

This has been a frustrating transfer window for the Magpies, with Rafael Benitez failing to bring in one single player this month.
The Spaniard is operating on a very low budget, but at the same time reinforcement is absolutely necessary for Newcastle as they aim for Premier League survival this season.

One of the areas in the squad which Benitez would like to bolster is the attacking department. And that is why Stanislas could be a handy signing on loan.
The 28-year-old has struggled with injuries and has played bit-part roles for Eddie Howe this season. The Sunday People claims that he would “jump at the opportunity” of joining the Tyneside club this month.

The Magpies are keen on signing Kenedy from Chelsea, and Benitez sees Stanislas as a very real alternative should he fail to sign his first-choice target.
