Newcastle United star Jacob Murphy’s brother Josh starred for Norwich City against Chelsea on Wednesday night.

Jacob Murphy’s brother Josh impressed for Norwich City on Wednesday night as the Canaries narrowly lost to Premier League champions Chelsea on penalties in the FA Cup – and Newcastle United fans have urged their club to sign him.
The 22-year-old featured for the entire 120 minutes of the third-round replay, and even scored a penalty in the shootout only for Chelsea to win 5-3 on penalties after Nelson Oliviera missed his spot kick.
The fleet-footed winger impressed throughout as he proved a constant thorn in Chelsea’s defence, starting up front alongside Portugal international Oliviera in a 3-4-1-2 system fielded by manager Daniel Farke.

Murphy’s brother Jacob joined Newcastle in the summer from Carrow Road for a fee of £12million, but that has not stopped Josh from impressing in yellow and green this season – scoring eight goals in his 28 league and cup outings.
Newcastle fans have taken to Twitter to suggest Norwich’s Murphy as a January signing this month, which would see him team up with his brother at St. James’ Park once again.
One fan even claimed that “Josh Murphy is the better of the Murphy twins.”
