Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Bristol City defender Joe Bryan.
The 24-year-old, who has come up through the ranks with the Robins, is seen as one of the best left-backs in the Championship, and needless to say, he is a key player for the club.
He has made over 200 appearances for Bristol City, and his performances under Lee Johnson hasn’t gone unnoticed, with Premier League clubs now vying for his signature.
The Mirror reports that both Newcastle and Everton are interested in landing Bryan, and the Robins could demand around £7 million for the player.
Left-back is one area where Rafael Benitez needs to bolster, and Bryan would be a terrific addition to the squad.
Bristol City, however, haven’t received any formal bid yet, but the Magpies will have to present a tempting bid in order to lure him to St James’ Park.
