Newcastle United are said to have walked away from a deal for Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen.

Newcastle United fans cannot believe that Hull City are asking for £20 million for Jarrod Bowen.

According to the Chronicle, Newcastle have decided not to go for Bowen as Hull have slapped a huge asking price on their star forward.

Newcastle don’t feel that Bowen is worth £20 million, and have now walked away from the move.

And Magpies fans have actually backed Steve Bruce’s side for deciding against the transfer.

Bowen had a great season at Hull last term, where he scored 22 goals.

However, the 22-year-old has never really proven himself above Championship level, so he would be a risky signing for Newcastle to make.

If Newcastle don’t move for Bowen, they are still expecting to bring in another attacker, with Allan Saint-Maximin strongly linked in the Chronicle.
