Newcastle United’s Henri Saivet is linked with a move away.

The report claims that the Newcastle man will join the Ligue 1 side on loan initially and then in a £4 million permanent deal in the summer, if all goes well.
Saivet, a £5.5 million signing two years ago under Steve McClaren, has been given a second wind in his Magpies career recently, and scored in a 3-2 win at West Ham in December.

But it seems like Rafael Benitez isn’t too keen on the 27-year-old, who was heavily linked with a move away last summer but wound up staying.
Here’s how Newcastle fans have reacted to the rumour that he could go.

It’s been another truly disastrous transfer window for Benitez but surely offloading Saivet is good news and indicates that the Spanish manager is confident of new arrivals.
But the United boss gave himself a deadline of January 20 to get his transfer business completed this month, so hopefully for Newcastle fans’ sake he extends that by a few days because, as of now, nobody has arrived.
Saivet has made just seven first-team appearances for the Magpies.
