Some Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that Arsenal are interested in Freddie Woodman, who is on loan at Swansea City at the moment.

According to a report in Football.London at the weekend, Arsenal are interested in signing Woodman from Premier League rivals Newcastle.

It has been reported that the Gunners are on the hunt for a back-up goalkeeper to Bernd Leno, and that Woodman is on their list.

It is not clear if Arsenal would be able to sign the 23-year-old goalkeeper in January, as he is on loan at Championship club Swansea from Newcastle at the moment.

The North London club are claimed to be tracking the former England Under-21 international since the end of last season.

The report has added that Woodman’s father is Head of under-23s Goalkeeping at Arsenal.

Woodman has played 23 times in the Championship for the Swans this season, according to WhoScored, and is doing well at the moment.

Some Newcastle fans have given their take on speculation regarding Woodman and Arsenal.
