Freddie Woodman played for Newcastle United in the FA Cup at the weekend.

Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Freddie Woodman against Luton Town at the weekend.
Woodman featured for Newcastle in the FA Cup third-round tie against Luton at St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Rafael Benitez’s side won 3-1.

It was Woodman’s first-team debut for Newcastle, and his performance was a bit shaky, although there were moments when he looked very good.
The youngster has been on the books of the Magpies since 2013, and has been out on loan at Hartlepool United, Crawley Town and Kilmarnock over the past few years..
Newcastle fans were not overly impressed with the performance of Woodman against Luton, but they think that he has a future at St. James’ Park and want him to go out loan in the January transfer window to get some games and for his own good.

Meanwhile, 20-year-old Middlesbrough midfielder Harry Chapman has congratulated Woodman on his debut for Newcastle on Twitter.
