Newcastle United fans are impressed with Charlie Austin’s heroics for Southampton against Bournemouth in the Premier League at the weekend.

Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Charlie Austin’s heroics for Southampton against Bournemouth at the weekend.
Austin featured for Southampton in the Premier League game against Bournemouth away from home at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The 28-year-old former Queens Park Rangers forward started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it finished in a 1-1 draw.

The forward scored for the Saints just past the hour mark to help his side rescue a point for his side.
Austin is now fully fit and has scored four goals in two Premier League starts for Southampton so far this season.
The Englishman is a former Newcastle transfer target. The Guardian quoted the Magpies’ then manager Steve McClaren as saying in September 2015 that he wanted to sign Austin from QPR in the summer of 2015 as well as in January 2016.
