The resurgence of Newcastle has been startling so far, with one player in particular catching people by surprise with his good form.
Yoan Gouffran scored Newcastle’s first goal yesterday, with DeAndre Yedlin netting the second, as he continues his recent good form.
His goal was pretty special as well, smashing in a first-time finish on the volley to leave Newcastle fans further stunned at his performances.

The 30-year-old has struggled throughout most of his career at Newcastle, since arriving from Bordeaux in 2011.
Last season he featured just nine times for the club as they were relegated to the Championship but clearly he is enjoying working under the Spaniard at St James’ Park.
His excellent performances have essentially been like another new signing for the club, who are now standing second in the Championship table.
Newcastle fans are happily surprised by the good form of their formerly maligned wide man, and will be hoping for plenty more from the Frenchman…
