West Ham United have drawn envious glances from Newcastle United fans.

Newcastle United fans have reacted enviously, with West Ham United on the verge of signing up both Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic.

West Ham are expected to complete the double deal in the coming days, according to the Sun.

The Hammers have agreed to take Hernandez from Bayer Leverkusen, and he is likely to be Slaven Bilic’s main man up-front next term.

Arnautovic, meanwhile, should add creativity and power to West Ham’s forward ranks – after impressing at Stoke City over a number of seasons.

And Newcastle supporters are jealous of the business that West Ham have done so far.

Newcastle feel that West Ham are a team they should be competing with in the transfer market, but they have been left behind by them this summer.

Newcastle have completed just three transfer to date – with Christian Atsu, Florian Lejeune and Jacob Murphy arriving.

And the St. James’ Park crowd appear to feel that West Ham have done far better business than their own side.
