Abraham joined Swansea on a season-long loan deal from defending Premier League champions Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
Prior to his switch to the Swans, the talented and promising young striker was linked with a move to Newcastle.
According to The Mirror, the Magpies wanted to sign Abraham on loan in the summer, but Chelsea advised the youngster to move to Swansea due to the reputation of Newcastle, the city.
