West Bromwich Albion forward Salomon Rondon is currently on loan at Newcastle United.

Newcastle United fans are already fearful that Salomon Rondon won’t be at St. James’ Park beyond this season.
Newcastle have signed Rondon on loan from West Bromwich Albion for the season, and there was a hope that his move would be made permanent.
However, West Brom have activated a clause in Rondon’s contract which means that Newcastle can no longer take him for free at the end of the season, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Newcastle will have to pay up for the target-man, and Magpies fans do not believe that Mike Ashley will be willing to do that.
If Rondon, who is on a £55,000-a-week contract (Daily Star), does perform well at Newcastle, then that could inadvertently make it harder for Rafael Benitez’s side to buy the striker permanently.
With transfer prices rising every year, a good season in the Premier League is sure to make Rondon in-demand and an expensive commodity.
Rondon made his debut for Newcastle last weekend, when he hit the crossbar against Tottenham Hotspur.
The powerful forward could be in line to start for Newcastle on Saturday, when they take on Cardiff City.
