Newcastle United fans are hoping to see both Salomon Rondon and Danny Ings working in tandem at St. James’ Park next season.

The Sun claim that Newcastle are working hard to bring in both Rondon and Ings this summer to strengthen their strike-force.

While Rondon’s move from West Bromwich Albion is far closer, Newcastle are still hoping to bring in Liverpool front man Ings in the coming days.

And Newcastle fans are excited by the possibility of seeing Rondon and Ings together next season.

Newcastle have been criticised for lacking ambition over the transfer window so far, but Rondon and Ings would improve them.

Rafael Benitez’s side’s attacking options were not brilliant last season, with Ayoze Perez finishing as their top scorer on seven goals.
