Mo Diame hasn’t exactly lived up to his £4.5m fee since swapping Hull City for Newcastle United in the 2016 transfer window.

There were few tears shed when Moussa Sissoko left Newcastle United for Tottenham Hotspur late in the summer of 2016. Unfortunately, The Magpies find themselves lumbered with another hulking midfielder who appears to coast around the pitch without a care in the world.
Though according to The Sun, Newcastle could somehow find a buyer to take Mo Diame away from St James’ Park in the January transfer window. It is understood that Turkish duo Sivasspor and Goztepe are hoping to land the 30-year-old in a £2.5 million deal.

And while it remains to be seen whether or not Rafa Benitez wants to keep Diame around, Newcastle fans would bite your hand off in unison for such a fee.
The Senegalese powerhouse is hardly a fans favourite at St James’ Park and his recent inclusion in the starting XI has left supporters baffled.
Diame was abysmal in defeats against Watford, Chelsea and Everton with his lack of work ethic or discernible signs of interest leading to his name being mentioned quite a lot on social media … and not exactly for the right reasons.

Newcastle paid £4.5 million to sign Diame from Hull City in the summer of 2016, according to Sky Sports. But you’d be hard pushed to find a Newcastle fan willing to wait around for a better offer.
