Bristol City defender Adam Webster is on the radar of many Premier League clubs, including Newcastle United.

Newcastle United supporters on Twitter have been left unimpressed with their reported interest in Bristol City defender Adam Webster.
TeamTalk have claimed that Newcastle are a host of clubs interested in the centre-back’s services, but they would have to pay £12 million to snap him up.
It is said that the likes of Burnley, Leicester City, Southampton and Watford are all keen on the 24-year-old, who impressed one and all in the Championship last season.
Webster is a ball playing centre-back, who plays for an attack-minded manager in Lee Johnson, with the sought-after player also having a bit of presence about him as he comes in at 6ft 3.
Despite Webster’s promise, Newcastle fans aren’t having any of it because they can’t see the club buying a player like him, especially for the money mooted.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Webster make a switch from Bristol City to the Championship because they have had a number of highly-rated players play in England’s top-flight in recent seasons.
Bobby Ried, Joe Bryan and Lloyd Kelly are just some of the players that have made the switch from Ashton Gate to the promised land, with the first two suffering relegation during the recently concluded campaign.
Here is a selection of Newcastle United fans on Twitter reacting to those Webster rumours:
