Newcastle United fans react on Twitter to Paul Dummett and Jamaal Lascelles contract extensions

Newcastle United are set to hand new long-term contracts to Paul Dummett and Jamaal Lascelles.

Newcastle United fans appear divided over the news that both Paul Dummett and Jamaal Lascelles will receive new contracts.

The Chronicle have suggested that the defensive pair will both be given long-term deals by Newcastle, who are keen to tie them down.

Lascelles and Dummett both played key roles for the Magpies, as they earned promotion from the Championship.

But some Newcastle fans feel that neither of the pair are good enough for the Premier League.

Other Magpies fans, however, suggest that they are fully deserving of the improved contracts on the table.
