Newcastle fans are beginning to get used to Moussa Sissoko playing well for Tottenham. Well, it is a World Cup year…

Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko scored again last night as his transformation continues.
This time last year and right up until August he was like a jigsaw piece which just did not fit the rest of the puzzle, only now some of the rough edges are being taken off.
Sissoko scored again last night for Tottenham, his second goal for the club following a strike against Huddersfield earlier in the month.

It was a confidently taken strike after breaking on a counter attack, taking advantage of some disorganised West Ham defending.
For the last 12 months Sissoko’s name has been synonymous with the word ‘flop’, after failing to live up to his £30 million price tag.
He still has a way to go in order to justify the fee, but it does not seem quite as ridiculous now.

Newcastle United were the beneficiaries of Tottenham’s impulsive decision to sign the Frenchman, and fans have revelled in the the piece of business the club pulled off.
The reaction last night was a bit different however, with fans reacting to a positive contribution from Sissoko compared to their usual gloating, even though Spurs went on to lose the game 3-2.
Many were still reluctant to give Sissoko credit, feeling that him raising his game will not last.
Here is a look at the Toon reaction to Sissoko’s latest Tottenham display…
