Moussa Sissoko scored his first goal for Tottenham one year after his big move from Newcastle.

It took a while, but Moussa Sissoko finally scored his first goal in a Tottenham Hotspur shirt at the weekend.
The France international came off the substitute’s bench to net the fourth in a 4-0 away victory over Huddersfield Town.
Sissoko signed for Tottenham from Newcastle United on deadline day in 2016, and has struggled to show his best.
This season he has gradually begun to turn it around, and his first goal just rubber-stamped his improving fortunes.

Newcastle United fans have fairly given Sissoko some stick after his inconsistent performances for them, and his poor debut season at Spurs.
There was a mixed reaction to seeing the midfielder scoring his first Tottenham goal, including one fan who his strike cost money, blowing his scorecast bet.
Some fans wished him well or made a joke of it, while others suggested the strike should not count as Sissoko’s – but should have gone down as an own goal instead due to the deflection it took.
Sissoko made his return to St James’ Park earlier in the season as his Tottenham side won 2-0 on the opening day.
The two teams next meet at Wembley in March.
