Arsenal’s Lucas Perez is reportedly wanted by Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.
Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Arsenal forward Lucas Perez.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that the Magpies, who won automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of last season, have asked about signing the 28-year-old and would be prepared to make the striker their new number 9.
Perez joined North London outfit Arsenal from Spanish club Deportivo La Coruna in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £17 million.
The Spaniard failed to make an impact at the Emirates Stadium last season and was able to make only two starts in the Premier League.
