Bryan was one of the best defenders in the Championship last term, and Newcastle fans think he would improve Rafael Benitez’s squad, if he was to arrive.
Newcastle may well need a new left-back next season, as Bryan could offer them more attacking intent that Paul Dummett.
Dummett is a solid defender, but he does not posses the same forward instincts as Bryan.
Bryan has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs in the past, so if Newcastle do make a move, they may have to beat off competition for his signature.
Newcastle have made three signings so far this summer, but Bryan would be their most expensive signing to date, if he was to arrive.
