Newcastle United centre-back Fabian Schar has been linked with a move to AC Milan.
Schar was one of Newcastle’s star player last season, with his performances at the back really catching the eye.
The Swiss centre-back has only had one campaign at St. James’ Park, but he is already a fans’ favourite.
However, Schar is said to be willing to move to AC Milan and his representatives reportedly held meetings with the Italian side.
Milan are now expected to make a bid for the Newcastle man in the near future.
And many Newcastle fans suggest that they couldn’t even blame Schar for leaving.
Newcastle have already sold Ayoze Perez this summer, they have failed to sign Salomon Rondon and, in the biggest loss of them all, they were unable to agree a new deal with Rafael Benitez.
There are now real concerns about the direction that Newcastle are heading, with serious questions being asked about their ambition.
