Newcastle fans do not mind potentially signing Joshua King but are not mad on trading Matt Ritchie away.
Newcastle United have been linked with trading away winger Matt Ritchie in order to land Bournemouth striker Joshua King.
The Sun reported that Newcastle are in talks with Bournemouth over a swap deal.
Ritchie would be used to lower the cash amount required to acquire King.
King has scored 24 Premier League goals over the past two seasons and has been linked to Newcastle previously.
Newcastle signed Ritchie from Bournemouth two years ago and he has been a regular under Rafa Benitez.
Toon fans are appreciative of the effort he gives and how important he has been for the club over the past two seasons.
While the idea of landing Joshua King is a good potential upgrade for Newcastle, but supporters are not comfortable with sacrificing the valuable Ritchie in order to get him.
