Joselu featured for Newcastle in their Premier League game against Brighton at St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon.
The 28-year-old striker did not start the match, but the Spaniard came on as as a substitute in the 74th minute.
The striker joined Newcastle from Stoke City in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £5 million.
Joselu – who earns £40,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – scored four goals and provided one assist in 19 Premier League starts for the Magpies last season, according to WhoScored.
