Everton and Crystal Palace reportedly want to sign Freddie Woodman from Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.

Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking Freddie Woodman with a move away from the club in the summer transfer window.

According to The Chronicle, Everton and Crystal Palace are interested in signing Woodman from Premier League rivals Newcastle this summer.

It has been reported that both the Toffees and the Eagles want the young goalkeeper on a permanent deal, and that the England Under-21 international is eager to be loaned out to a club in League One for the 2017-18 campaign.

Woodman is only 20 years of age and has yet to establish himself in the Newcastle first team, but the youngster is hugely talented and has a lot of potential.

Although the goalkeeper is quite inexperienced, a spell at a club in the Championship or in League One this season would help him develop and prepare for a long-term future at St. James’ Park.

Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking Woodman with moves to Everton and Palace – they are not happy and want the young goalkeeper to remain at the club.
