Newcastle fans react on Twitter to Everton deal regarding Lewis Gibson

Lewis Gibson looks set to leave Newcastle United for Everton in the summer transfer window.

As reported by HITC Sport, Everton have agreed a deal with Newcastle United over the transfer of Lewis Gibson.

The 16-year-old operates as a central defender, and is considered as one of the best and promising young players in England.

Gibson is part of the England Under-17 squad and is said to have a very promising and bright career ahead.

As reported by HITC Sport, Premier League giants Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City all were interested in the youngster, but Everton have won the race for the defender.

The Toffees have agreed a deal with Premier League rivals Newcastle for the transfer of Gibson.

Newcastle fans are not pleased that the Magpies are about to lose an academy player to Everton and have vented their frustration on social networking site Twitter.

Newcastle will feature in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.

As for Everton, the Merseyside outfit will be aiming to break into the top six of the league next season.
