Newcastle United have lost their opening two Premier League matches.
Newcastle United supporters on Twitter have hit out at Michael Chopra after he claimed that the players don’t know their jobs under Steve Bruce.
Former striker Chopra claimed that he has ‘spoken to senior players’ and shared that they don’t know their team shape or how they are going to play, as quoted by TalkSport.
There were some Newcastle supporters who simply weren’t having any of what Chopra was saying as they believe Bruce will not be concerned about his comments.
The Magpies have endured a poor start to the season by losing their opening two matches – most recently their 3-1 defeat against Norwich City.
A lot of drama has surrounded St James’ Park this summer, and Bruce’s appointment didn’t exactly help things, but he is in charge now and he’s trying to put things right.
Things are not going to get easier for the former Aston Villa manager because, at the weekend, Newcastle will take on Tottenham.
Another defeat here will only pile more pressure on the players and Bruce, but a win will lift the gloom in the North East.
