Perez featured for Newcastle in their Premier League game against Palace at St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon.
The 24-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder, started the match and played for 66 minutes.
Rafael Benitez’s side picked up all three points from the encounter courtesy of a 1-0 win, thanks to Mikel Merino’s goal in the 86th minute.
