Newcastle United failed to win in the Championship on Friday evening.
Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Aleksandar Mitrovic against Leeds United.
Mitrovic featured for Newcastle in the Championship game against Leeds at St. James’ Park on Friday evening.
The 22-year-old striker started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Magpies played out a 1-1 draw with the Whites.
Newcastle legend Alan Shearer was following the match, and he was not impressed with the performance of Mitrovic and made it clear on Twitter (click here to read more).
While some of the Newcastle fans were not impressed either with the youngster, the majority seemed to think that the striker did well against Leeds.
Mitrovic has scored four goals and created 20 chances in 21 Championship appearances for Newcastle so far this season.
Rafael Benitez’s side are second in the league table at the moment with 85 points from 42 matches, four points behind leaders Brighton and Hove Albion.
