Newcastle United midfielder Jack Colback spent last season out on loan with Nottingham Forest, but has returned to St. James’ Park now.

Newcastle United fans have been left gutted after spotting Jack Colback back in training.
Colback was snapped walking into Newcastle training, and it is fair to say that the picture did not go down well.
It was widely expected that the central midfielder would leave Newcastle this summer, after spending last season out on loan at Nottingham Forest.
However, Forest’s change of manager combined with Newcastle losing Rafael Benitez seems to have given Colback another chance.
The 29-year-old is now back with his Newcastle teammates, and in senior training.
But Newcastle fans certainly do not appear to want Colback back in their first-team next season.
Newcastle’s options in central midfield are so short at the moment that Colback may genuinely have a chance to stake a claim.
Mo Diame has left the Magpies, while Sean Longstaff’s and Isaac Hayden’s futures are in huge doubt.
If Colback does manage to force his way back into Newcastle’s team he will have to win over a lot of doubters in the St. James’ Park crowd, which could make things difficult for him.
