Newcastle United supporters fear that they are being left behind by Fulham, and have called for Rafael Benitez to have more funds.

Some Newcastle United fans are up in arms about Fulham signing Jean Michel Seri, while they still struggle for transfers.
Fulham paid £25 million to sign Seri from Nice, according to the Guardian, while Newcastle’s transfers have been far less eye-catching this summer.
The arrival of Kenedy today has been celebrated, but he has only moved to St. James’ Park on loan.

Newcastle have also snapped up Ki Sung-Yeung on a free transfer and brought in Martin Dubravka for a fairly small fee.
And Newcastle supporters are frustrated that a newly promoted club such as Fulham is showing more ambition than them in the transfer market.
Newcastle did manage to stay up fairly comfortably last season, and there were hopes that Rafael Benitez would be able to spend this summer.
However, Newcastle appear to be shopping on a budget again, as they look for additions to improve the quality of Benitez’s squad.
Fulham and Newcastle are actually in discussions this summer, with the Cottagers thought to be keen to bring in Aleksandar Mitrovic.
